I would like to start by saying if this facility was owned by someone that knew how to run it this could be a goldmine. I have been to this place 3 times and each time the service got worse, for one lets start from the top the owner-wooly mammoth that runs the place is a rude ex-cop from New York that knows as much about running a restaurant as I do performing surgery. The first time I went in there I waited 15 minutes to even be greeted wasn't busy either. I was going there to watch my NBA team play it was on one of the projection sets in the corner, halfway through the game the waitress turns the game off as I am watching it. I politely asked her if she could turn it back on and she said I have to go ask the owner, she came back 10 minutes later and said he wants that T.V. Off. I told her I was in the middle of the game and she said that's just the way it is. I then asked her isn't this a sports bar and that's why you have 33 TV's so people can watch sports, her reply was " We do what Mark the owner says".
I had just recently went back and now they have upgraded there staff from horrible, rude, obese, owner, to extremely rude obese, bartenders that have attitude and insult people why they go in there to enjoy themselves.By the way the male bartenders are pretty good the new female is one of the rudest people I have ever met.in closing Brookside sports bar is the worst establishment in Surprise period by far because of Mark the owner.
