I walked in to a nearly vacant Subway Friday 05/10. The owners were less than pleased by the presence of customers. The male owner was busy counting money by the register and the woman, whom I can only estimate was his wife, asked us "What do you want." I had just had a great time watching The Great Gatbsby, so I brushed it off and said, "subs, " during the process of making our subs she asked what type of cheese we wanted and once we told her the threw the remaining cheese back to the containers. Once we got to the register the man was arguing with the lady I can only assume by their tone of voices because they were speaking in a different language other than English. He finally charged the sub and when I asked to make it a meal the price absolutely soared — I told him I have never paid so much for a meal before and he said, "how can that be ma'am, when it's nationwide?" I should have cancelled the order when the woman only gave me 4 cucumbers and 3 jalapenos on my foot-long subway... I have never experienced such rudeness, mean looks, and belittleness while buying lunch. Before we left we asked for napkins because he had failed to put some in the bag and he gave the whole of 4 napkins for 2 foot long subways.
