I was made an offer for a low interest credit card and told that I would have to pay a one-time activation fee of $299.00 which was electronically deducted from my checking account. I have not received as of this date, the credit card or copy of the contract that was discussed over the phone. I have, however, contacted Federal authorities at the Federal Bureau of Investigation concerning this matter after I attempted to resolve this matter personally with Central Support & Savings.
I was told by individuals at the customer service line that the activation fee was nonrefundable. I have a paper trail with my bank concerning the electronic debit from my checking account. I am submitting this and other information that I received to Federal authorities to get this matter resolved and prosecute these individuals to the fullest extent of the law.
