For well over a year now, I have had a Circuit City Visa account. The account has until recently been owned by First North American National Bank. Back in June, Bank One acquired FNANB and now they have taken my account and drug it down from what is was.
Ever since July, my annual interest rate has gradually gone up each month, and now it is at 23.77%. This is MUCH higher than what it had been in the past, and it is taking me FOREVER to get this account paid down. But rest assured that once i do, and the account has a zero balance, I will cancel this account IMMEDIATELY. I will have nothing to do with a company who does not understand how to be loyal to their customers.
I have a Capital One account that i have had just as long as my CC Visa, and also a Household bank card. The interest rates are much better, the customer service is a lot better, and i will be a long time customer with them since they treat their customers very well and don't screw people on apr's like bank one. I would continue to do Bank One if only they would be loyal to me for having a long running account with a good history.
