A1 National Van Hire
Avoid

The van arrived fine from Europhire.
That was the only thing that went right with this hire.
A1 Van Hire failed to include VAT on the written quote provided.
It took weeks for them to return my £500 deposit despite phone calls and emails.
Then, a couple of weeks after that they took £45.66 from my credit card.
I reported this as fraud and A1 claimed it was a charge for fuel.
After ringing Europhire, I was told that they had billed A1 for 12 litres of fuel USED FOR THE DELIVERY. A1 clearly state there is no charge from them for delivery so they have no right to take this money! (And even if they did it should have been deducted from the deposit).
A disgraceful company that should be avoided at all costs.
