My name is Bonnie Mcgraw, and I am a 40 yr old Ga. Resiadent.in mayI also recieved a postcard from Liberty Benefits, like many others. I had just found out I needed major surgery, and my company was only going to pay me 80% of min. Wage the 10 wks I was out when I make $15 an hour.
I made the phone call and was promised a4,000.00 cedit card, free trip and coupons gauranteed for a fee of $221.99 that I could debit from my checking acct. With my poor credit and a 100% refund warrenty I agreed.
I was told I would recieve my package in 4 to 6 wks. It never came.
After several phone calls to 800# I recieved the package in late sept. Thats 13wks.
I found no credit card in the package but a card only to buy from their catalog. I called a # of times again they told me to fill a application out in the package before I could reieve the 4,000.00 credit card, so I did that.
I never recieved the card. I called again and they very nastfully denied me a full refund and hung up on me.
Now I cannot get hold of any one at the 800#. I've had to go bankrupt now because I depended on the card to help me during my surgery to pay my bills.
It is now mid Jan. 6 mths since I was promised the full package.
Can any one help me? I need justice and my money back. Please help me stop these crooks before they hurt to many others
