Square took it upon themselves to retrieve money from my bank account for sales that were processed. They stated they had received notification of a chargeback from a client. I had never received any word or correspondance from an unhappy client. They sat on those funds for several months.
After I contacted them again, very upset, they stated the chargeback where they represented me as the seller - did not go in my favor - they kept all the funds plus additional funds that were removed. Now 2-3 months later they are still sitting on funds for a sale that was processed before I was notified of the chargeback.
When I requested the money be deposited to me - they stated that they had to keep it against future chargebacks. Well - there aren't going to be any because I refuse to use their services again. I just want my money that is due to me.
If anyone is interested in using their services - B E W A R E! They make it easy to process credit card transactions as money for them to keep!!!
