I was contacted by Everest Consumer Services claiming they could help me rebuild my credit with one of their credit cards. The person I talked to was Robert Donovan he said that someone would call me 72 hours before the withdrawl was to be made and if there was not enough money in the account that it would not go through.
When no one contacted me I then tried to get ahold of them through the customer service number they provided. I could not get ahold of anyone until the day the withdrawl was to be made and they told me that it had been sent anyway and to put a stop payment for an electronic withdrawl. Which I did, but come to find out it was in paper form and so it made it through my account anyway.
I contacted the company and they told me that they would put the 299.00 back into my account within 30 business days and gave me the address to the company so that they could fax my bank a letter saying the withdrawl was done in error. I sent them a letter two weeks ago stating what I needed, and have heard nothing from them and come to find out from this site that the address is a fake anyway. I am now 700.00 in the hole, with utilities being shut off, and kids not getting the things they need for school. I have filed a fraud report with the bank, hoping that they can clear up this problem.
