Preferred Plus Card, Latin Card Plus And Proline Card
These are real scams you will not get your money back and these are not credit companies as they advertise themselves

After having seen an advertisement from Preferred Plus Card on the Univision Spanish TV network, so much was my ignorance that I gave them a call (800-298-4289). The commercial it self looked legitimate and specially! It was being shown in a major TV network, I knew scams usually happened trough Internet, mail and phone and rarely do you hear of scams that are advertised on TV. A Fedex representative came to my house and he delivered a package that was to contain a visa credit card with 0% interest for one year under my name in exchange of a money order by the amount of $300 as it was mentioned by the Preferred Plus Card rep.

When I opened the package I noticed that the card was not an actual credit card and gave them a call right away. I was told that it was only temporary (30 days) and that I needed to make a purchase from an old catalog or their site www.preferredpluscard.com and that after that I would receive my deposit back and the actual credit card that I would be able to use anywhere. Since I wanted to establish my credit and recuperate my deposit, I went ahead and placed an order for an item.

After having sent a down payment of 60% of the items listed price, which as they mentioned I needed to do in order to receive it, time pasted and I did not receive anything. I began calling them very often, upset about the situation the call would take a long time to be answered. I was always getting the same response that they would take care of the situation and that I was not to worry about anything.

I spoke with many representatives and managers in many times about how upset I was about this whole situation. All of the sudden they stopped answering the calls, I called all the numbers which they had provided and nothing. I did find out that they had become Latin Card Plus and Proline Card, which they use the same method as PPC. I did get in contact these other companies, and all they did was hang up on me.
These is definitely a very fraudulent activity that many people are falling for.

Be careful on who you deal with
