Received my first phone call around July 7th from a David Watson from telephone number 2815818661 on my cell phone and my place of empolyment. Asking me and telling me about a pay day loan i had taken out some time ago. And that the debt was never paid and why dont you have your account anymore and you owe us etc... What was my plan in paying it back? I responded with a settlement offer and the original debt was 300.00 and they where settling with 650.00. I had set up arrangements and everything but from a moneypak card.
1st payment was for 250.00 then the next two payments where two hundred a piece this was all suppose to be paid by the second week in August with first payment was july 20th. Unfortunately my oldest son was shot up multitable times on the 18th of July a block from my home. He was rush to the hospital where he lived for 12 days and past away on the 30th of July. I buried him on the 7th of August. Do not you know this Mr. Dave Watson left numerous of message on my phone up till the 1st august threatening me sending the cops to my job my home etc...
I immediately contacted them let them know my situtation about my son and that i was burieding him in one week he agreed to back off until the 15th august. This monday 20th he called repeatley with threats then I get another call from this officer same company different telephone #8058765771 by the name of Mr. Jackson threaten me so I cure him out and made him aware that he is harassing me in my time of grieving and he instructed that i shut and listen to him i repeatedly to to call him names cured him out more he threaten to have me arrested for verbally abusing him etc...
Up until today he is still calling with threats i block both telephones from my cell phone he then callled from a wried number 26669 stting i am man of my word I will have police show up on my door step and work to arrest me. I had contacted my local Attorney Generals Office consumer protections department spoke with an Attorney I faxed the documents that they had sent me in my email address.
After she read them she immediately told me to call them and not to pay anything to them Let them know you have spoken with our office here and tell them to provided you with more information. First the Attorney General's office doesn't arrest for payday loans you go thru Civil court first where a judgement is filed against you. Needless to say I asked for those things we got into another arguments and I hung up. The Scam is a bunch of Bull. Report them to your local police department and Attorney Generals Office.
