My husband was injured and unable to work. I tried several times to contact a Homecoming representative to have the house mortgage modified so that I could keep up on a single income with two babies in daycare. They did not care, I was told that if I could not afford the house to sell it. I never had a chance ot get it sold they forclosed in three months.
I made partial payments ($2,597) that they applied all of the money to BOGUS legal fees and late fines and inspections. A slew of other garbage started showing up on the monthly statements. I asked for proof that I owed extra Escrow, and my property insurance had changed. They provided nothing. They sent a inspector every month to walk arround the house and billed me $125 for each visit. I tried to talk to the reps. I called and got put on hold for the Forclosure dept. And then got a voice mail and never a call back.
When he called he was mean and said I was out of budget, WELL tell me something I did not know we went from 2 incomes to one in the blink of a car wreck!
They took all of my partial payments and still took my house.in three Months time I owed a ADDITIONAL whopping $8769 due in full to stop forclosure -yeah Right)!! These people are ruthless. I was 3 months behind and guess what, now my husband is disabled and I am homeless with a five month old baby girl and a three year old. I am saving every penny to get a old one bedroom apartment to survive. Greedy MEAN AND RUTHLESS, well I am not getting out of the property, let them pay ME or evict me, their choice for being so cruel!!
