Around June I met a coworker named Alan Aguilera who said he could help me with a Loan Modification. That him and his father were Realtors and also did loan mod's. He introduced me to his father Julian Aguilera who worked at Move Up Properties in Upland at the time. They both told me they could help me get a loan modification for a friend price of $1800. I trusted Alan and his father Julian at the time. I payed them $1800, weeks went by never seen a papper, email or heard anything on my loan modification. I only ever really delt with Alan. I would ask what was up with the load mod, he would just give me a run around. I wasn't making payments on my mortgage due to financial hardship and I told both Alan and Julian that, if I didn't qualify for the modification, I needed to sale the house trying to avoid foreclosure. After about 2 month they told me that I didn't qualify and they would help me sell my house. Never seen any papers or anything, I trusted Alan because I worked with him and was lead to believe this was my only option at this point.
Its been about a year now when Alan out of the blue, tells me he no longer works for that Realtor's office, and convinces me that my signature was being forged there. He talked it up about how that office was "real shaddy". That I needed to get copies of everything I had ever signed and get a cancellation form, so I could transfer over to his new office, telling me to keep it short and sweet if I talked to anyone. I called Move Up Properties very upset about what I was lead to believe. It wasn't till I had a good long talk with the office manager and owner, when they made me aware of situation.
Move up Properties had been receiving many calls that Julian and Alan Aguilera had been charging numerous of people $1800 for credit repair and not doing anything for anyone but taking there money. I was the first they heard of being charged for a loan modification from them. Long story short they scammed me out of my money leading me to believe I didn't qualify for a loan modification when never filed one. Just pocketed the money. They made it clear to me that they (Julian / Alan) had NO qualification/license/business charging anyone for credit repair or loan modifications. And further explaining why they no longer worked there. Move Up Properties has been great t me and anyone who was a victim of Team Aguilera. I nor they wont stop our efforts to prosecute them to stop this common criminal act.
