Nelson & Kennard is nothing more than a collection agency. Capital One issued me a Visa credit card several years ago. I made on time payments for a couple years until the great recession forced me to close my business. I have been unemployed for over three years. I could not even make the minimum payments to just cover the $100 a month interest on a balance of $5600.instead of working with me, Capital One sold the account to Nelson & Kennard for pennies on the dollar. They have been harassing me for almost a year now. They have now filed a civil suit at the local courthouse and have filed a request for entry of default. It is obvious why this "law firm" does not have a rating with the Better Business Bureau. They are unscrupulous, and go to any lengths to collect money for their clients like Capital One.
