Chase bank ing has been efficient ever since I joined their clients years ago, but as of late the bank has begun to decrease in quality service and control. I was recently over drafted due to the banks inability to "foresee the transaction" as well as maintenance and black out times. All this came down to a purchase going through and the failsafes I set in place to prevent it not preventing it. The bank claims that it is never a bank error and trusting in their warning systems is flawed. Something no one would really like to hear from a bank. I'm extremely dissatisfied with Chase. I owe them a fee now and they refuse to even admit fault let alone help.
