Last year I paid for a full years subscription to Preventions magazine. After the full year was up I began to receive notices saying that if I didn't send in $15.97 that my subscription would be cancelled. I didn't send money because I did not want the subscription any more. Of course they stopped sending the magazine.
All was just fine until I received a notice in the mail from North Shore Agency saying that I owed $15.97 for magazines and a free gift (that I never received). It said to send the money so that Prevention could continue to send me the magazine.
This does not sound like an honest way to keep me as a customer. I will not let them take my money by threatening me and my good credit.
I read another complaint about this company and he said that he had found out that collection agencies buy lists of expired subscriptions and send thm fraudulent collection notices so they can illegally get the money.
People need to do their homework so that dishonest companies such as this one can no longer get away with robbing people.
