Ripoff scam fraud He Said St. George, Utah But Phone Number Was Atlanta

Got a call from 678-298-2212 and he announced his name as John Smith and had an Eastern Indian accent or maybe Pakistan. He said he would wire an approved government grant in the amount of $8,000.00 to my checking account for a $249.00 fee.

He wanted my account information so he cound transfer the money. I refused but he remained persistant. He said he couldn't give me the address of the business until I gave him my bank account information. I refused.

Don't get taken by this scam.
