First Union - Wachovia Bank
First Union Scam and con artist, pretending to be honest people defrauding money by keeping money not theirs and falsefying records or just not making recordsand then making false credit reports ripoff

A loan was taken out at a local back (First Union). All payments were made and were kept up to date after a business transaction had taken place and then a merger with another company. Wachovia. The bank advised the account was part of a bankrupcy which it was not. There the account was transferred to a recovery department in Jacksonville, Florida. No adjustment or anything was made other than paayments were to be sent to this bank. Every payment was made before the due date and sometimes two or more payments made be fore the next came due. Sometimes I would get notices in the mail that if I paid the account off at a certain date I would save several thousands of dollars.

I kept making the payments trying to get rid of this debt. After about three years of paying on this debt, and being five payments ahead on the account I started receiving calls saying I needed to make my payments and I was behind so much. I would call the accounting department and they would advise I was ahead on the payments and not to concern myself and if there was any problem or misunderstanding it was now corrected.

The next month the same thing. I contacted everyone I could thing off during this time but could not get any results, in fact I was just completely ignored. I became disabled and had taken a life and disability insurance out on the loan which was around $1600, I had been making payments but now since I was totally disabled (spouse) I would contact them regarding the policy. I was told they did not know what I was talking about. I gave them a name they still refused to acknowledge this.

I then contacted the insurance controllers who advised it was not a disability policy but a life policy that had been cancelled and the money sent baack to First Union/Wachovia to be returned or credited to my account. Neither happened! False credit reports were filed and is still being filed even thought I have made my payments far in advance. I sent all the information I had gathered regarding my claims. They were not even acknowledged. The credit reports and the way they have been reported keeps me from trying to get them paid off sooner. Even though, I paid my payments and on time or before time, I was not given credit.

I am now trying to close a deal to pay them off but because of the false filing to the credit bureau it has interfered. I am waiting to get them paid off then I intend to contact the controller of currency of banks and file a complaint and at least see if I can get the insurance money back that someone obviously pocketed...
