I recieved a call from these people that insisted that my husband was very interested and that he looked over their website on saving money from past income tax returns.
They asked me to fax last years income tax return forms to them and they would get with me in a few days. A few days later I recieved a phone call again telling me that if I would send them $2000 dollars, that they would show me how to start up a business over the internet, where I could hire my children out and use them for tax exemption and tax purposes.
Realizing at that point in time that it was a scam, I immediatly told them I wanted nothing more to do with them. They called me again and again and I started not answering my phone. They continued and they tried to ressure me that they could save me more money if I only sent hundreds of my own to them. I immediatly changed my bank account numbers to make sure they did not take money from my account with out my knowledge. I refused several times to have anything to do with this company.
I learned a lesson for this and it was a slap on the wrist because of what $39.99 did when I sent it to them. Now I have recieve a bankrupcy claim from that company and they still want more money to have my tax papers returned to me. And I still get harrasment from that $39.99 that I sent them. Is this fair? Is this a rip off?
