Stockholm Investments Ltd
Gerald Lancaster, Linda Dunning This company is fraudulent. Do not release your personal information to them

Stockholm Investments contacted me a few days after I posted my resume on careererbuilder.com claiming I would be a great match for an office assistant manager position they had available. I googled the company and a page popped up claiming ther are looking to expand to the U.S. I was very skeptical because the position seemed way too good to be true but since I'm job hunting, I put my doubts aside and decided to push forward. As I'm oing the application they e-mailed me, I'm still having doubts. I submitted my application and that's when the scam began. From there on, the only contact I had with these people was via e-mail. Several times I requested a face to face meeting and it was never granted. I was told they were not here in the U. S yet but as soon as they arrive, I'd meet the rest of the team. This went on for a week which was annoying. I checked the BBB website for them and nothing popped up. This is how the scam works. Stockholm Investments created an employee log in page where I was expected to log in M-F every hour from 9am till 1pm to get any "tasks" my supervisor had for me. These tasks were all suppose to be towards getting the "office" up and running. For example, I was given a week to go scope potential office locations, create a spreadsheet and e-mail my findings back to Linda Dunning who was my supervisor. What she would do next is send me a check to go pay for the location I liked. The check would be for tens of thousands of dollars and always more than the cost of the office space. I was then to send the rest back to her. If I had cashed those checks, I would end up in prison for stealing. What Stockholm Investments is doing to innocent people is very wrong and they need to be punished if they can be caught. Here is something to think about, why would a company entrust someone with so much money without a face t face meeting? Why don't they contact a realestate agent to do the work for them? All I can say is, don't trust these people. Be very aware when it comes to working for people who you have never seen.
