I was dealing with Chip Lane, who is a loan officer at Prime Finance. He had worked on a loan saving me around $130.00 a month but putting me back 3 years in my mortgage. When I asked him for disclosures he told me that they do not send the disclosures out and that anything I had to know or have in writing he could e-mail to me.
When we were about to close the loan the rate mysteriously went up and there were "discount points, " involved. No, I don't mind paying points to lower a rate, however my rate was higher than originally discussed. I decided not to go through with the loan, however a friend of mine had the same problem with another loan officer in that office. No disclosures and lying about points. They are in for a serious fine when the Banking Dept of New Jersey finds out about this.
