I invested money I inherited after my husband passed away. My daughter's college friend knew people who had invested with the company called New Century Holmes of North Carlonia owners, Eric Betha and Travis Bumpus. I thought I would invest this money to have available for my retirement. I signed a promissory note to invest 300,000.in return I would receive a yearly rate of 30 percent in monthly interest payments. This was a Balloon note with a 12 month term. My money was taken from me and not given back. I was told that the company is under and cannot pay at this time.
