Ocwen Loan Servicing
Very bad company since day one of purchased mortgage from Litton

My mortgage was purchased in November from Litton, even though I never received notification. I was making trial payments to Litton, to catch up and be modified, so I was naturally behind. I went to make my online payment as usual and the Litton website stated that my loan was now being serviced by Ocwen. I notified Ocwen and was told that I did not even have a account number assigned to me yet and it would take a week or more for that to happen.

In the meantime they said to hold off from making payments, as they had no way of crediting me without an account number. Made sense at the time, so I waited. I waited 2 weeks and then called back. I got a person who was on Indian decent apparently and had a hard time understanding him. He informed me that even though I had been making trial payments to Litton, that because the mortgage was now owned by Ocwen, all agreements were null and void, including trial payments.

He then demanded $5000 and said he could accept that amount or nothing and if I tried to pay a lower amount towards the balance, that it would be returned EVENTUALLY and not credited to the account. Me did tell me about modification with Ocwen and what I needed to do to apply. I applied the very next day, downloading the application offline twice, filled it all out completely and accurately and then returned it with the required accompanying documents (pay stubs, tax returns, etc.).

I faxed all the documents and waited. I was then told that a "Relationship Manager" was being assigned to me and that they would be contacting me approx. 2 weeks later. I thought 2 weeks, that's an awful long time, but ok? When the Manager called me at the allotted time, she stated that she had only received half of the documents and to re-send them all asap (sound familiar anyone?) She then made another phone appointment for approx. Another 2 weeks away.

I again thought it was strange that it took so long, but I re-faxed everything regardless. Two weeks went by, the Manager called me back and said she had all but my wife's last 2 pay stubs, which were included twice already and said to send them in again, also giving me another fax number that she said went directly to her. SO if you're following, another month goes buy, another payment I fall further behind (over $6000 now).

The next 2 weeks go by and I don't get the call I am waiting for and at the specified time. I call up the general Customer Service Rep number after the time came and went, only for them to tell me that there was no scheduled called, even though speaking with another Rep just days before I was told to "Be ready for that call", when checking on the status of the now 3 times being sent documents (sound even more familiar anyone?)

After arguing for 20 minutes about how I did have an appointment, the Rep states "Oh, I found a note that says we tried to call you, but you did not answer (remember this same excuse for later on in my story). After assuring her that was not true, we scheduled another appointment the next week. When the next appointment came, I did receive the call.

The Manager lied and said she tried and after arguing with her about it, we moved on to the subject of my supposedly missing documents. She informs me for the 4th time now that for whatever reason, she is not receiving my wife's stubs, then says she is, but they are not readable and asks me to email them instead, which I have also done each time and told her so. She laughs, says thanks for your patience and now asks me to send everything the same way for the 4th time.

At this point I am livid and besides myself. I am sending the very (original) documents Fed-Ex, with a tracking number and delivery confirmation and then am going to see if they say they still cannot read them, despite crystal clear emails and very clear fax machines (3 different machines to rule out any issues on my end). Aside fromm hand delivering them, I don't know what else to do at this point.

Time continues to click away and I am scared to death that Ocwen is going to just foreclose and say "Oh well". They say they have not even started the process of foreclosure yet, but I had a guy taking pictures of my house about two weeks ago. When I went outside to confront him, he jumped in his car and sped off. What the hell else am I supposed to think is going on?

After reading the numerous complaints that date back to how can a company like Ocwen continue to remain in business and threaten our way of life, here in these United States of America? Today I owe just under $10,000 and am 7 months behind. I may be able to pay the money with help from my brother thank God, but I am fearful that they will lose it, not accept it or acknowledge it and that's money that I/we cannot afford to have lost in cyber space, in case they foreclose anyway and I will now not have the money to find alternate means of shelter. I have 5 kids and a dog. What the h*ll am I going to do? I am 100% behind a class-action lawsuit if people are starting one. Let me know by contacting my personal email address of. Thanks for listening!
