CIC Credit Monitoring SVC is a scam and a ripoff. I never even did more than maybe look at their website and they somehow got ahold of my checking account and debited $79.95 from it. If I didn't monitor my statement than I wouldn't have even known of this activity going on. I hope that the government cracks down on these companies for taking people's hard-earned money right out from under them. This company has several names, addresses and phone numbers so look out for them. I never even signed up with them and they were still able to do this to me. Scary thought! I filed a complaint not only with this bureau, but also with Better Business Bureau, my bank and also with an attorney that this web site recommended. I will not be a victim.
