Ripoff constant harassment trying to collect on an account paid off more than 15 years ago

This company has been calling me for at least 3 months trying to collect on a chase account I had more than 15 years ago.

A mr. Conely was the first to contact me and even though i explained that the account was paid off more than 15 years ago he continued to call me back.

There were times that he even threatened me. When i said i had good credit he stated he would make sure i didn't. On another occasion i said i had just refinanced my house and the debt didn't show up, he stated the next time i try to get financing "he will be there to make sure the debt shows (negatively)".

I have on numerous occassions told this man that i considered the calls as harrassment and if they didn't stop i would report them.

Now there is a new person from the same company calling me, a woman. I explained they got a bad tip and it was paid off just like i explained to mr conely.

Now, she has called again, i said i wanted the credit bureau where they got this information so i can clear it up. She gave me a company midland aquisitions. I said their calls were harrassment and i am going to take the necessary steps to report them.
