I was an agent with the company and recieved commission for the duration of my employment. During those time, I recieved Advanced Earn Commission for policies I've writtened.
Advanced Earn Commission means an agent will recieved 30% of the premiums paid by the customer, the other 70% will be distributed evenly in eight months.
In an event the customer decides to cancel the policy within approximately 15 months, the agent will be deducted 120% of the total commission paid.
I understand this structure but WMA doesn't notified an agent when they decided to refer the agent to a collection agency. I recieved a nasty letter and a phone call by CRB Agency Services (WMA's exclusive collection agency) located in GA where WMA is headquartered.
This collection agent is the biggest ASSHOLE and threatened me with lawsuits and things of that nature. I finally resolved the issue and paid the Advanced Charge Back. I contact other agents, and everyone told me the same thing.
