I signed up for JMW's little scheme using a check-by-phone. Right after that, I did a search online to see if I could find anything on the company. At top of the list was a link to usacomplaints.com.
I was hoping that this thing was for real, but after finding several postings, I knew that I had been swindled. That very day, I submitted to my bank a request to stop payment on that check and thought that was the end of that.
Much to my suprise, it wasn't. They still sent me the pathetic little booklet with a floppy. I just put it aside thinking that nothing else would happen.
A couple of weeks later, I received a collections notice demanding $124. I called the collections agency and asked what it was for. As if he was reading from a script (meaning JMW is one of their frequent accounts, and I do mean quite frequent) the agent said that I cancelled the check to JMW because I found out that they were a scam operation.
This company knows that JMW is a scam and yet they are collecting for them.
I've got to tell you that I want to make sure that this company is taken out of business and am willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
