Summit Legal Group
Taken

I knew I should have learned but felt desperate. I had been dealing with Slade Law Group for at least six months when all of a sudden I couldn't get in touch with them. I carefully listened to a recording that stated my files had been transferred to Summit. I made a few attempts calling the number on the recording with no success. Needless to say, Christmas and New Years were not so merry and happy.

On or about the 5th or 6th of January I received a call from Joe R. Concerning my modification. He explained what happened with Slade Law and convinced me that this would not happen with Summit. He also told me that once my modification was complete I would be assigned someone to help me recoup some of the money I sent to Slade. Did I mention I should have learned?

I promptly sent overnight $1500.00 on 1-12-11 to get things started and filled out the emailed forms. For the next eight months I went back and forth with Solomon and Aren telling me things were going along just fine. I even had Solomon call me around 11:00 Saturday morning telling me we were approved for a modification. After that, EVERY time I talked with him he told me the same thing. At one point I was told that BOA was asking for a good faith payment to which I authorized.

Lucky for me, I started to receive forms directly from BOA. I called Solomon about that and he told me not to fill them out and send them, that I needed to fax them to him and he would take care of it as this was the paper work he was waiting on. I reluctantly faxed him the paperwork but I did get a call from a BOA representative as well.

At this point (August) I began working directly with BOA, giving them the required documents. I am fortunate that I did this as just yesterday, received my trial modification paperwork from BOA. I feel bad for those that lost their homes because of these people. I didn't lose my home but did send a good bit of money that was supposed to go to BOA that I'm sure didn't.
