I share your anger, I know I have no credit with only two companies and this American Credit Educators isn't one of them. The first call came about four months after we moved in and I paid it no mind. But more calls started coming in, even some nice ones, about it's a good time to pay your bill.
So this time I got upset, and called the company, but it was on a saturday, but they did get there web site in formation. When I went to the site all required an acct # or your SSN, even to seek information in the help box. I'm not dumb so no SSN was put in. Being in the military taught me better than that, and also being in credit trouble before.
Thanks to your input it's now confirmed that this is a scam. Never give your SSN online just to find out what this is all about. I just wish I knew what I could do to go to war with this American Credit Educators, I beat Sadaam and, I would beat them too if I can find them.
