On May 12 when I was driving a Honda Civic I had a collision.

The car was insured with Anchor General Insurance so I made the claim which they filed under #11009343.

On May 17, Anchor sent Mr. Daniel Yamane, appraiser from AAS Appraisal Service PO Box 1491, Gardena, CA 90249 phone 310 355-0896 to make an estimate. The appraisal was $1,633.72.

From 5 body shops authorized for Anchor and visited by me I received evasive reasons to repair the car based on Anchor practice of pay too little, only Hooman Collision Center 737 N La Brea Ave, Inglewood 90302 Phone 310 680-6800 was willing to openly deal assessing me to request direct payment from Anchor to pay them for repairs based in an reasonable written estimate they made for me. They told me that it was the best deal for all three.

The math I made t evaluate the deal was as follow:

Estimate of damages $1,633.72 Deductible $500.00 Gross Total $1,133.72Net to receive: 70% as per policy terms $793.61

The amount received in ch 10229 is $445.06

In today’s conversation over the phone with the manager of the Claim Department which name I don’t remember, he refused to do any adjustment to the refund.

This is abusive practice and wrong doing from this Company, Who knows how many more clients have been victims and what other kind of tricks Anchor use to get the money from their clients.
