Elavon put hold on credit card receipts

I am closing my business and had more business than usual.US Bank called and questioned the amount of business we were dong. When they found out we were going out of business they put a hold on credit card receipts in the amount of 5000.00. I threatened to stop taking credit cards and they withdrew the money from my checking account.
