Raised the APR, Due to Credit Report supposely I have a excellent credit report They were not willing to cooperate when I volunteered to show them my credit

MBNA raised my apr significantly, reason being they said that I owed other creditors. I have excellent credit history, I owed MBNA $9000 of which I have never defaulted on any payments. There was nothing in the original agreement stating that they could raise my apr due to outside credit. I joined the creditor because they offered me a fixed rate. I feel that I have been taking advantage of. They refuse to work with me.

Please help me anyway you can.
