Citicorp Mortgage
Ripoff Foreclosed on property without proper notification WHILE IN FOREBEARANCE Farmington Hills Michigan

I rec'd 1st foreclosure notice from Citicorp Mortgage. I called them that day and said I've lived here for 15 yrs and I'll do whatever nec to save my home. I was ok'd for reinstatement.

I was in forebearance, the sale was postponed, they were working on the particulars of my repayment plan. I was in constant contact with the foreclosure and loss/mitigation depts. I have names and dates of everyone I spoke with, I was usually on speakerphone so I have witnesses to my conversations, I followed thru with letters "as per our phone call yesterday" to have a papertrail. I thought I had "friends" at Citicorp Mortgage, they acted that way. Certain employees were giving me personal advice with regards to my problems with my husband.

I always asked "IS THERE A NEW SALE DATE SET" I was always told no new sale date yet. I figured as long as there wasnt one set I was still OK. They were working on the repayment plan, and they were told if they werent going to modify my loan, add the balance to the end of the loan, etc, etc, MY SISTER WAS GOING TO LOAN ME THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE PAST DUE BALANCE SO I WOULDNT LOSE MY HOME.

To make a long story short, I got a notice of surplus funds from the sale of my home. Thats how I found out it was gone. I spoke to them on May 29, everything was OK, It was sold on June 5. HOW COULD THAT HAVE HAPPENED?

After the sale I spoke with everyone up the chain of command at Citicorp. The V.P. Was talking about rescinding the sale. I was told to fax over my info and witness list, I did, unfortunately the V.P. (and it seems everyone else) was on vacation, or out of the office, or not able to come to the phone. If a mistake has occured and it is pointed out to a superior shouldnt they take responsibility and correct the wrong instead of looking the other way. Everyone pushed blame on "the other dept", looked the other way and I lost everything.

The condos in my complex were valued @ $100,000-$120,000. Mine was sold for $60,000. My kids and I ended up in transitional housing for a year. This negligent and fraudulent behavior by Citicorp Mortgage ruined my life.

I have all documentation, phone records, faxes, names, dates, etc, but since I lost the place I've been running in circles.
