From 2005 through Las Vegas experienced a red hot real estate market, that they had never seen. I listed my house with a Remax realtor for a 5% commission. She wanted 6% and I negotiated 5%. She kept her sign on my front lawn and never showed my house in 2005 for almost a year. I couldn't figure out why? I didn't relist with her and unfortunately found Michelle Chauvin, who had just gotten her real estate license and was with Realty 1 in Henderson, Nevada. She also wanted a 6% commission and I negotiated for a 5% commission. I am a senior citizen. It took me forty years to have this house free and clear. Michelle Chauvin told me she could sell my house. She went so far as to tell me that she believed in Feng Shui and that it worked in selling the houses she listed.

First she staged my furniture and brought in a small model boat she borrowed from this lady. She pointed my furniture in a certain direction, pointed the model boat toward a wall and away from my front door. The real estate market was red hot. I believed that she would sell my house. I took my 850 fico score and bought a new Lexus and took on $700.00 a month in car payments, believing she would sell my house and I would then pay off my car. Almost a year went by, and she never showed my house once. I couldn't believe it. She had her real estate sign on my front lawn and my house is beautiful, sits on 10,000 sq. Ft. And houses in my neighborhood were selling with no upgrades for $600,000 plus. Finally Michelle Chauvin blew the hot real estate market for me.

I couldn't figure why Michelle Chauvin never brought a buyer to look at my house which is over upgraded. One day she came to me and told me, "I really tried to sell your house." Then, the hot real estate market crashed and my $600,000 house was now worth $317,000. I tried a couple of more agents after the crash and still no offers or showings. I just couldn't figure out what was wrong. Everyone in that hot market was asking more than the houses were worth and then they would negotiate. I didn't get that chance. I got stuck with $700.00 a month car payments for four years and finally I just couldn't pay the $700.00 car payments. I missed a couple of car payments.

I went through all of my savings and finally my car was repossessed, my 850 fico score destroyed and I ended up in a Reverse Mortgage. The mortgage company gave me $102,984.07 in credit on a property that was free and clear and stole the rest of my equity. I am living off of my credit and now have an attorney that has a nationwide pending lawsuit against this mortgage company. This law group found my name on the mortgage company list of reverse mortgage victims. The courts forced them to release the list. I am hopefull with this lawsuit that I will get my house back free and clear. This has been a financial nightmare for me.

Now, six years later, I finally figured out why Michelle Chauvin and the first realtor never showed my house. Everytime a buyer called about my property from the For Sale sign on my front lawn, Michelle Chauvin and other agents took buyers to where they could get a 6% commission. The listing agent, Michelle Chauvin on a 5% commission only gets 2% on a 5% commission and the outside agent gets 3%. I can only hope that Michelle Chauvin and all of those outside agents get paid back for destroying me financially. My only hope of getting out of this financial nightmare, is to get my house back and a monetary cash settlement. This agent gave me enough grief for ten life times.
