I think I was scammed.
I went to check my bank account. I had an extra $500.00 in my account. I called the bank to get info. They said it came from My Cash Now. I never applied for a loan with them. I called them and told them I wanted to send the money back and they wouldn't let me. They asked me security questions. I got them right but than when I called back they said I failed. They wanted my bank account number, and DL number. I refused. I told them you put money in my account you should have that on file.
So now I am stuck with a 500.00 loan because they say my security questions were: my birth place, and mother's maiden name. They said I didn't answer them correctly so they can't talk to me about extending my loan. I was going to tell them I will pay it but I can't pay it off in one payday (which the days they have are not my payday.) A few weeks ago someone called me pretending to be a Attorney having a law suit against me for a non paid payday loan. Than they called and said they were a law officer going to arrest me. They called every 5 minutes at my work. Now I get $500.00 in my account. How fishy is that? I want to close my bank account. I don't know if that is legal. Just be careful.
