Wow. Guess I should have stopped here before opening my accounts at Netbank. I had no idea that they were going to be so uniquely deceptive and then try to again "trick" the consumers that read this information into believing that they did nothing wrong. Just for general information I took the time all morning and read every single Netbank report here and a few other places online. They all are different but are the same.netbank makes it well known that everything they do is in their disclosure and in their listing of fees statements. However, what they won't tell you is that they have gone out of there way to make sure it is as difficult as it can be to not be ripped off and have funds held for outlandish periods of time and fees charged to your account.

In my situation Netbank creatively would hold my deposits then would start charging fee's for not sufficient funds. They stated "This is not an NSF charge but a different charge because you did not allow the time to pass for your funds to be available". The whole process is deceptive and not a standard of practice. I have taken the time to check into this and have found out from calling other banks, professional organizations, and Certified Public Accountants that their policies are not the standard. A few people on their own accord stated, "it's obvious that they 'Netbank' is making the attempt to gain as much as they can in special fees by not providing adequate information for the average person to understand". One person also said, "I'm a CPA and I know that I could not keep track of this information and tell you when to write checks or not. It does not make since to me".

The point is that Netbank has simply taken the Rip-Off deal to a different level. I think it's about time a class action get started to protect and refund all of the people that are victims of this company's practices. The big issue. They can take days and days to solve problems. They don't answer e-mails. The purpose: To hold your funds longer for their benefit. Personally, I won't have it. It's simply not right and preaching this policy and that policy means nothing. My policy is to stomp out trash like this. Please e-mail me [email protected]

I have already send complaints to the State of GA and the Federal Government. I would recommend you do the same.

I am in the process of going back to my old bank with lots of story's to tell them. Not to mention that I apologized for leaving them!

P.S. I also found out that a business guy I know just had the same problems with them this week. Regrettably, I recommend them to him.
