I took out a payday loan a few years ago. I recently tried to get another one and I was contacted by a company that calls themselves The State Investigation Department. They call me all day long. They say that I owe $350 on a pay day loan and I told them that I payed over $500 on that loan. They told me that they do not have any records of me paying any money on the loan. I contacted the bank that was associated with the loan because we all know that you HAVE to have a bank account to get a loan. The bank said that I needed the date that the loan was taken out but this agency refuses to provide me with this info. They called me threatening me saying that they would be at my house or place of employment in two hours to arrest me if I did not agree to a payment plan with them. They also threatened to arrest my supervisor and my references, in which they had all of their info also. They then asked for my credit card info, and all of my other personal info.
