This company preys on the weak and less fortunate. The send out misleading flyers in the mail that make people think that they are working with your mortgage company and that you have been pre-approved for some sort of new loan. This is all a bunch of bs. What makes the company illegal is the fact that they charge upfront fees in order for them to start on your modification. The law that was passed in January made it illegal to do so. They can try to persuade you to think that they are working around the law by doing a loan audit or that they are going to sue your lender, bs I say.
I was crooked into thinking they were legit as well so don't feel bad. Come to find out, the lady who processes the modifications is a 1 person show working out of her house! She additionally wasn't able to give me 1 reference of a homeowner who she was able to get a modification for. They are crooks and after they get your money you will never see it again!!! The owners will of spent your money before they end up in jail and you won't see another penny! I have contacted the local news, the bbb, the ftc, and the fbi about what they are doing, they won't be open much longer!!
