Being involved the NADN since 11/01 I can personally say what I have read is true and is not suprising to me at all. I have two "Shop'n'2000" (mall for all) websites, a useless S-Corporation and an audit from the IRS. On 1/27/04 I spoke with Tina (2330) who directed me to Judy. Judy told me to fax the audit papers to them so they put someone on it. Lack of information and no returned phone calls are par for this company. As of today, 2/23/04 I am yet to hear from NADN.
After talking to a very understanding IRS agent several time over the last month to straighten out two years of taxes, he informed me that NADN was sending letters to his office (6 just today) that NADN basically has given up on the "tax credit" for the website buinesses and wanted to "work a deal" to amoritize start up cost of said businesses.
The IRS point of view is the websites are not businesses and the deductions are denied. So I am out $5475 and have a promissary note I have to read over again to see if I can understand it.
What ever you do STAY AWAY from NADN and help those that were sucked in by fast talking sham artists. If any one has information on a class action suit please contact me by using the rebuttal box below and please pass on info to others!
