GE Money Scams Customers - GE Money Bank

I purchased a sizeable amount of furniture from a local retailer, Rooms to Go in October. The monthly payment was scheduled to be $80. I pay my bills on line, and have been doing so for many years, and with absolutley no problem. The first payment I made on line was kicked back by the company, and when I asked why they told me I entered the wrong account number. I found that hard to believe, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and made another payment on line, making sure I put in the correct information.By the way, I was charged a late fee as a result of this. The next month, the same thing happened, and I was contacted by GE and told I owed 2 payments plus the late fees and that I could pay it over the phone. They again told me I entered the wrong account number. I asked them what number I entered, but they said they couldn't give out that information! It was my information, why couldn't they give it to me? Makes no sense! I told them I know I entered the number correctly, and after a back and forth with the constomer rep. I paid the 2 payments, and only one late fee. Now, it's March, and they're pulling the same thing again. I got a call from the same woman who originally called me and she gave me the same script about not entering the correct account number. I couldn't take listening to her voice anymore, so I hung up on her! I have a theory that due to the fact this purchase I made had a promotional no interest for the life of the loan, they are finding ways to charge you fees to make up for the lack of interest fees! Also, the company that I bought the furniture from never cancelled one of the pieces of furniture I bought, and it showed up as a charge in December for almost $700, which increased my payment, and they have never taken the charge off, despite my numerous calls asking that they do so. I also believe that Rooms to Go is involved in the scam with GE, it's just to much of a coincidence!
