Linda from US Mortgage Funding contacted me and assured me I was more than qualified for a lower mortgage rate. Their attorneys deal with Wells Fargo and other companies all the time successfully with mortgage modification. For a fee of $2000.00 charged to my credit card. $1,000.00 first payment, second charge of $1,000.00 several days later. No question they could get my mortgage modified. I be crazy not to apply for it. This would be much cheaper than refinancing my present mortgage.
Linda told me the modification would take several weeks at the most.in the meantime, I was to stop making my morgage payments to Wells Fargo and not to speak or contact anyone from Wells Fargo while US Mortgage was negotiating my new mortgage rate and monthly payment.
The past year has been a nightmare and I am still trying to resolve it. U.S. Mortgage stole more than $2,000.00 from me. They should be prosecuted and sent to jail to pay for the mental and emotional damage their company has caused their victims.
