My parents and myself have been going thru a loan modification for the last two years with bank of america. Consequently bank of america denied my mom and stepdad a loan modification. My mom has cancer, and has had multiple surgeries in the last year including heart surgery. My stepdad has had 3 knee surgeries. My mom with her request for a loan mod informed bank of america of her ability to pay $1200 monthly for a loan modif.in the past she had been ripped off by people claiming to work for an attorney's office who she paid money to and never resolved her loan mod let alone contacted bank of america. So she submitted all of her financials to still be denied a loan mod by bank of america. This is absurd, and selfish on the part of bank of america who are denying loan mods to folks who can afford a reduced mortgage. I was denied also by bank of america because they were adding debts to my liabilities that were duplicates for which i have copies of on my credit report. They told me theyhave to add them as liabilities even if they show duplicate debts with the same account numbers, and some of which i am not paying for instance, coll accts for which they are including and i'm not paying which one would think thats why its in collections. I feel bank of america are conducting unsound business practices by denying my mother and me a loan modification based on wrongful busiiness practices of what a person has sent, income, etc... Makes it so bad is that i am a deputy sheriff for los angeles county, and they're telling me my debt liablity is too high with only two credit cards i'm paying, two car notes, ins??? Give me a break!!!
