I recently refinanced my mortgage, via a business named First Monetary NLC, which designated to Ocwen.
I had been to obtain a 95% LTV mortgage, which in the final desk turned 85%. I had been in times where I'd to consider the mortgage, because of unforeseen conditions. Because, I've been educated the mortgage was really through Ocwen right from the start, that First Monetary NLC was never concerned, and they never meant to provide me the 95%.
Moreover, the cost I had been cited was designed to include escrows for fees & insurance, but I then found out later the cost was simply primary & curiosity, without any fees & insurance involved, as "they do not consider escrows".
So now I've a payment per month for a great deal greater than I bargained for, but still need to spend my very own property tax & insurance.
Along with that, my 1st cost was due on 1/1/04. I submitted a money purchase for that sum due. I obtained a contact from an "Ocwen consultant" that established my tackle, telephone, etc., and proceeded to verify delivery of my cost that was presumably lacking a number of my account number.
Today, 1/26/04, I get a telephone call from Ocwen, wondering why I've not yet submitted my Jan cost. I advised them that it had been delivered & obtained 2-3 weeks before, that I obtained a verification phone to that particular impact. They inform me it had been never obtained, that I'm mistaken, which I will have to pay for a $48.13 late charge. I intend to overnight a check for them nowadays, to ensure that it's nevertheless obtained before the end-of the month, and thus that I obtain a bill for this.
After studying all these reviews, I'm worried that it wont actually matter easily do-or not!
