Aargon contacted me by phone claiming that I have an outstanding debt. I asked them to send something in writing so that I could verify that it was a valid debt. The agent was rude and indicated that they don't send out letters and that I needed to pay the debt. The next day I sent a certified letter to Aargon requesting that they validate the debt and not contact me by phone. 1 week later they called and tried to demand payment. A week after that, Aargon reported failure to pay collection account to the credit bureaus and dated the account as being in collection two months before 1st contact.
This company has unethical practices and consistantly violates the FCRA.
