Paul R. Gwaz was arrested on a fugitive warrant in Forsyth County, June 21 and extradited to Broward County Florida for Grand Theft Auto where trial is scheduled for April 18 in the circuit court of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Broward County Florida. Gwaz was arrested on April 26 and convicted June 9, in Forsyth County for second degree trespass and larceny.
On December 17, The North Carolina Real Estate Commission revoked the broker license of Paul R. Gwaz aka Gwazdauskas finding that Mr. Gwaz falsely represented the arrangements and details of a real estate investment scheme to investor-clients; failed to maintain investor-client funds in a trust account as required by Commission rules and converted funds received from investor-clients to his own use; failed to provide information and records requested by a representative of the Commission; and incompletely prepared a lease-option agreement on a form not intended for that purpose using ambiguous terms and conditions.
