AIC Facilities Management, Inc
Kicked a man when he was already down

My name is Cassandra Summers. I'm trying to collect the sum of $3200.00 from Myron Stempa CEO who owns AIC Facitilities Managment, Inc, Great Neck, NY 11021. This company has unprofessional business ethics and are immoral. My husband & I have a small business in Jackson, Mississippi called Summers Cleaning Service. We steam cleaned the carpet for Kohl's Department store in Hattiesburg and Flowood, MS in October for AIC Facilities, Management, Inc. Even though we provided the documentation that was requested in order to start the process for payment, as well as purchased additional insurances in order to provide quality services, this company has NOT satisfied the debt that was promised to be paid 30-45 days.

Despite numerous phone calls in an attempt to collect the balance due, leaving message after message for the accounting department has not produced a favorable return. No one from that department has had the decency to attempt to communicate the company's intent to make good on the contract that we signed with AIC.

I hope the next victim will research this company before they put the noose around their neck also. This is the instructions they gave us when the job was completed. "When job is completed please fax a copy of the attached completion form to close this work order. When submitting your invoice please mail the original completion form. Only the Original completion forms will be approved for payment. Thank You."

Duh, we sent the originals like a dummy and they claimed they never received them. After we went back to the Kohl's store and had the manager sign and state we completed the work, we still haven't been able to resolve this issue. Needless to say, they made us sign the contract to agree to comply with all of their requests, but they themselves have breached the contract by stating they would pay us in 30-45 days.

This money was really needed at a time when my husband was already low in spirit due to the death of his mother on Christmas Day. Now we have the additional worry of making sure that we have the money to pay our employees being a small business. I mean, what is the world coming to? We are certainly in our last days.
