CAMCO ripoff, trying to collect on a 23 yr old credit card, hit them where it hurts

I did a lot of checking on these people and came across a BBB report at http://www.chicago. BBB.org/common.html? Location=/home/common/www/mis67/report.php&bureau=chic&compid=6500079.

Read it carefully. You can get them for sure at one thing! Illegal access to your credit report. I just checked mine and they ran an inquiry on me, that inquiry will remain on my record for 2 yrs. I will contact Trans-Union and raise hell. The information they obtain is what they use to sucker people into paying! They have no permissible purpose. They can also not threaten or intimidate.

I can't believe that these SCAMCOwards make a living with 300 employees and growing! Don't give them a dime, even if you actually have an outstanding debt from years ago. Read their mission statement!"There does not appeared to be anything that prohibits a collector from seeking *voluntary* payment of the debt. (snip)"
