I took my 2009 taxes to this company to have them prepared. When I arrived the lady in the office took all of my information along with my w2 forms. She told me that they would do them and get back with me. On the following day, she called me to tell me tha she had to send my return to their accountants which was in another location. A couple of days later, the young lady called my againto tell me that i would be getting a little over 5,000.00 back on my returns. She said that they were having a half price tax prep fee that would be 75.00. She toldme that it would be deducted from my return. I was already in debt for 2300.00 to the irs and about 4000.00 to child support. So all of this went directly to the two agencies. Near the end of 2010 I was informed by the irs tha there was an error in my filing and that i owed them 3500.00. I was unable to contact Mr Jenkins or anyone else. All the numbers for them was out of service, the suite was vacant. I called the home location and that phone ws also disconnected. Finally in December of i receive a call from the lithonia office asking me would i be interested in having them do my taxes this year. I todthem no, and i explained to the young lady why not, and I asked her to have Mr jenkins to call me. He did call me and he told me that he is te one that prepared my taxes and that he did it as a business return. I never told then that i had a business he never informed me that he would be doing a business tax return for me. He told me that he did it to help me get more money on my returns. Now he is telling me that i owe him 900.00 for doing a business tax filing for me. I have been trying to contact him to resolve this matter, but every time I call hes not in, he refuses to return my phone call, and he also refuse to give me a copy of my return. What can i do to resolve this matter.
