My wife is Asian and I'm of Jewish ancestry. We both listento Clark Howard as a retired couple and try to support the community by doingbusiness with small banking concerns.
She has accounts with more banks than me and one withPeople's Community Federal Credit Union that I've never liked, because of itsemployees' overshadowing demeanors while possessing the color of sadisticracism, anti-Semitism and an abusiveness towards me as a person functioning witha physical disability.
My wife is more tolerant, but it is for those reasons statedabove that I will never opened an account with that People's Community FederalCredit Union and instead am completely happy with the personal service andfinancial interest that I receive from the HomeStreet Bank that is also locatednearby.
A few weeks ago during the windstorm in Vancouver, I droveto the drive thru with my handicapped placard hanging in plain sight on therearview mirror; twice I have been wounded in the line of duty during nationalservice. This visit was to make a deposit for my wife at the People's CommunityFederal Credit Union. The blond female teller at the drive thru window seemedmore interested in leaving for the pending holiday than performing in the bestinterest of the customers and portrayed herself with non-feeling sociopathy.
When she opened the drive thru service drawer to return the deposit receipt, she deliberately and I opine, sadistically rammed the side door of our vehiclewith the mechanical device. However that was not enough for her, because sheknew or should have known that when she returned the deposit slip to me byplacing same on top of the internal security bar that would have help the pieceof paper in place, that instead it would instantly blow away with the highwinds channeling around the building. I was unpleasantly amazed to see ourprivate finical record blowing into the parking lot where I had to quicklydrive, park and chase the piece of paper in the wind with a half metal legwhile the teller sat watching her cat and mouse game play out.
More recently my wife made the first transfer mistake byaccidentally clicking the savings button instead of the checking button. Shewanted to transfer funds from one bank to People's Community Federal CreditUnion, but instead incurred a $28.00 penalty. We went to the branch and unlikeother banks and credit unions that offer genuine personal service, People'sCommunity Federal Credit Union affords itself the plausible deniability ofripping-off their customers by instructing its tellers to inform that injuredparty that "a committee" must review any refunds before a decisioncan be made - I guess they are patterning themselves on the same corporatistmodel as the extortionist insurance industry as codependently supported bytheir congressional pimps.
Any other bank or credit union would have refunded thepenalty fees for the first mistake without question, but People's CommunityFederal Credit Union only refunded half. People's Community Federal CreditUnion is a misnomer and perversion of language for one of the entities that hasdestroyed the future of America.
