On 01/26 I was contacted by American Equity employee Joseph (AJ) Mangonis from the Cary NC store regarding a recent mortgage inquiry. I informed him I was already in the process of re-financing my home with Quicken Loans. He began to belittle Quicken Loans and I told him that Quicken had an A rating at the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Mangonis told me that businesses pay the BBB for good ratings on their site and when I asked him not to further contact me he said in a rude tone, "Well you just have a good day then". Furthermore, he subsequently sent me an email with a link to usacomplaints.com with information demeaning Quicken Loans. Must be really tough out there for a business to include rude statements and business practices and demean other companies verbally and in writing doing business with the public.
