In response to the gentleman in Florida: MCPS/Woodforest National Bank say that that $495.00 charge for cancellation is per terms and conditions — yet they cannot cite those terms and conditions. When I asked they pull the terms and conditions — AFTER the FACt — I received a three page agreement of terms that Woodforest National Bank did not even sign. The contract does not cite any such term as a $495.00 cancellation charge, nor does it refer the signator to the contract elsewhere for these terms and conditions. Most states require all terms and conditions up front. Without such terms and conditions, cited up front, there is no agreement. Not even for the monthly and annual fees in my contract. It is bank fraud. We should consult a class action attorney, because I think every account holder has the same contract.
